Hardness Testing

Universal Testing Machine

Our universal testing machines for static applications are specially designed for tensile tests, compression tests, flexure tests and shear tests. They are ideal for standard tests, but also for complex test tasks in the field of materials and components testing. Universal testing machines (UTMs) thereby provide a flexible solution for tests on a wide variety of materials and components for applications in any industry. Whether it be for low test forces or large loads, quality control or research projects, universal testers provide excellent reproducibility of test results.

Vickers Hardness Testing

Hardness testers for optical test methods cover different load ranges and feature equipment for various degrees of operator convenience. Thus, the most suitable tester is available for each type of application.

Rockwell Hardness Tester

The various ZwickRoell instruments in the Rockwell product group are used for classical Rockwell methods, superficial Rockwell methods, and depth measurement methods, such as ball indention tests on plastics.

DuraScan G5

The DuraScan G5 series with which all Vickers, Knoop and Brinell test tasks can be carried out in a load range between 0.25 g and 62.5 kg features a high level of efficiency, flexibility and process reliability. The entire test sequence, from setting the indent to displaying the hardness value is always fully automated, eliminating operator influence to the greatest possible extent. The DuraScan models 10 G5/ 20 G5 are ideal as semi-automatic hardness testers for simple applications.

Dura Vision G5 (Semi auto)

The semi-automatic DuraVision G5 series offers a uniquely wide standard load range from 0.3 kg to 3000 kg. This allows for a wide range of applications, from small to large test specimens, to be covered with just one machine. The large variety of electronic force sensors guarantees continuous and precise force application in the load range of 0.3 to 250 kg as well as in the load range of 3 to 3000 kg.

Dura Vision G5 (Fully automatic)

The fully automated DuraVision G5 series hardness testers cover a uniquely wide standard load range of 0.3 to 250 kg or 3 to 3000 kg, which supports a large selection of test methods: Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell, Knoop to EN ISO and ASTM, as well as carbon testing and testing on plastics. Thanks to its sturdy construction, the DuraVision G5 Automatic is particularly suitable for use not only in the vicinity of the production environment, but also in the laboratory for quality assurance purposes.
